Great service, GREAT food, great coffee, beautiful atmosphere. Very impressed by this place and what a great experience we had! I got the little chicken sandwich which was the perfect size for me and the fried cauliflower bites which were AMAZING. I didn’t even need to dip them in anything, though they had a condiment station with lots of options. Great setup for their coffee bar, and the cashier had a great drink recommendation. I was just visiting, so not sure if I’ll be back but if I lived here I totally would come here as much as possible!
I just had a small vegan “chicken” sandwich. It was delicious. It came with non vegan mayo, so I asked them to leave that off and I ordered the vegan green goddess dressing for an extra 50 cents. Elevated the sandwich for sure. It comes on a tasty soft roll and includes 2 pickle rounds and shredded lettuce on the sandwich. Satisfying and filling. The large version would have been too much for me.
Decided to check out milkbread recently for breakfast on a Saturday. It was very busy but the line to order your food moved quickly. We ordered a Smores Doughnut, Nutella Toast, Avocado Toast and a Crispy Chicken Biscuit. We found a few seats and our food was out very quickly. Everything tasted great and the prices were really good. We will be back and would highly recommend milkbread!
Very cute and classy place to visit. The hot dip, while a little higher in price, was VERY worth it! The coffee here is very good and you can taste the quality. The people here are very kind and seem to enjoy what they do. I WILL be back in the future and will bring some of my local clients here for meetings!
I had to see what all of the hype was about and MilkBread delivered!! MilkBread is wonderful addition to the food scene in Davidson, NC. I can see this becoming a go to place for Davidson College students and the locals a like. The dinning experience is very casual and low-key. You have the option to dine in or carryout. The staff has the ability to take your order from anywhere in the restaurant. They don't have to be stuck behind the counter like traditional eateries. Thank God they have a text notification when your order is ready. Now let's get to the good part. The individual that helped me was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu and she was able to share her personal point of view about how things taste. After a little Intel on my likes and no cannot do, I got 1 seasonal donut, the roasted mushrooms on toast, and the Hot Dip. The standout was the donut and the roasted mushroom toast. This was my cheat meal and it was well worth it Next visit, I'm going to try the wine and a donut
Went for breakfast today and it wasn’t very busy. Service was quick. Ordered from the kiosk and had food at our table within 5 minutes. The chicken was great - light breading and the biscuit was soft, warm, and delicious. Pimento cheese addition is a must. Also had a great donut and strawberry matcha. Ate outside and watched sub-par drivers try to navigate roundabouts, which I can’t understand the confusion because they are so easy to use.
Love it! Scratch made food. The chicken is crispy. The crispy cauliflower in their house made ranch was outstanding. The Mac and cheese was also very flavorful. Perfect portion sizes. The mango matcha donut was so good I will be dreaming about it when I have to return home. A company making a conscious effort to be environmentally friendly. Could do without the plastic cups… but everything else it amazing. ADORABLE interior design and staff is friendly.
The food was really good! We got the hot 'chick' sandwich, fried cauliflower, fries, plant based chick nuggets, & donuts. My cashier had great customer service & asked the manager about the accommodations I requested. I don't like mayo so they let me swap out the slaw for shredded lettuce. I also had questions about their plant based options. The manager, Mason was very accommodating & also had amazing customer service too. I really enjoyed my visit today.
